Man arrested in Cave City in relation to vehicle stolen out of Tennessee

CAVE CITY, Ky. – A man is facing multiple charges after police say they located a vehicle stolen out of Tennessee.
The Cave City Police Department says it responded Thursday shortly before midnight to 819 Sanders St. in reference to a male outside of the parking trying to break into vehicles.
Police say before their arrival, the caller said the male was entering a Nissan Armada and leaving the lot.
Police say at the scene, they saw the vehicle exiting before stopping the vehicle and learning it was stolen out of Tennessee.
Johnnathan Orellano-Barahona, 33, was arrested. He is charged with rear license plate not illuminated, no registration plate, no registration receipt, no other state registration receipt, receiving stolen property under $10,000, operating on a suspended operator license, failure of non owner to maintain insurance and failure to wear seat belt.
Orellano-Barahona was transported to the Barren County Detention Center.
