Hart County Teacher Days are back starting July 13

HART COUNTY, Ky. – Teachers will soon be able to plan field trips to Hart County educational attractions for a lessened cost.
The 2024-25 Field Trip Assistance Program will provide a $5 compensation for each student on the trip.
This deal applies to Hart County activities, Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo, Dennison’s Roadside Market, Hidden River Cave/American Cave Museum and Dutch Country Safari Park.
The program lasts from July 13 through July 27. According to Hart County Tourism, Kentucky public school teachers get free admission with a valid teacher ID.
Applications for the program open on Aug. 1, according to Hart County Tourism’s website. Educators must apply for the assistance program online here.
