Russellville Independent Schools benefitting from Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grant

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – Young students at Russellville Independent Schools will be getting a daily fresh fruit or vegetable snack.

The addition will benefit students from preschool ages through fifth grade, the district says.

Russellville Independent says their food service team has been awarded the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grant, which supports fresh produce at high-speed elementary school across the nation.
