BUTLER COUNTY, Ky. – Butler County’s Animal Shelter will be offering $25 cat spays and neuters, courtesy of the Bissell Pet Foundation.

Bissell Pet Foundation’s Fix the Future helps owners who may not be able to afford services to fix their cat. Fix the Future is a nationwide initiative for spaying and neutering.

Founder Cathy Bissell teams up with qualified veterinarians to perform fixes at shelters that need it the most.

“Thank you to Cathy Bissell and Bissell Pet Foundation for helping us Fix the Future™ by breaking the barriers to affordable and accessible spay/neuters,” the shelter stated.

The Butler County Animal Shelter requires cat owners to text (270)-526-2694 prior to visiting the shelter. The owner’s name, cat’s name, address, email, breed, physical characteristics, gender and weight must be in the message.
