STEM camp teaches next generation at Phil Moore Park

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Thrive Program ended its STEM camp at Phil Moore Park with a bang.

Professor Graybeard, the Science Guy, demonstrated combustion and explained its use in escaping earth’s gravity. The event capped off a week of fun learning about science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

He said, “Well, science is everything. We live in a world where the more we learn about the world around us, the more we can live successfully within it.”

The Thrive Program is a partnership between the Warren County Public Library and Warren County Parks and Recreation. Future camps include one focusing on nature and another exploring pirates.

All camps are free, and more information is available on the Warren County Public Library’s website.
