Grayson Co. woman severely injured after car hits dump truck head-on in Leitchfield

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – A Grayson County woman suffered severe injuries following a head-on collision with a dump truck.

According to a report by K105 News Director Ken Howlett, the Leitchfield Fire Department, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, and EMS responded to the crash in the 700 block of West Main Street at the intersection of Basham Drive on Tuesday.

At the scene, first responders extricated a woman operating a Ford Taurus that struck a dump truck head-on. The dump truck was loaded with rocks.
