Scottsville woman served warrant, facing drug charges

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville woman has been arrested on drug charges.

Scottsville Police received dispatch to a residence on East Maple Street at approximately 12:30 pm on Tuesday. The call was about occupants who did not have permission to be in the residence.

According to the police investigation, officers located Kellie Jo Nichols, 31 of Scottsville, in the residence.

Police say that Nichols had an active warrant and possessed illegal narcotics.

Nichols was charged with the warrant service and lodged at the Allen County Detention Center.

Nichols is also charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
