Hart County Search and Rescue pulls kitten from drain

HART COUNTY, Ky. – Hart County Search and Rescue was busy this week, coming to the aid of a stuck kitten.

Hart County Search and Rescue says they got a call Monday afternoon for a kitten stuck in a 3-foot deep drain on a private Hart County home.

The team tells us they suspect the kitten was in there at least until Sunday night until they were called.

Thankfully, the small animal was rescued Monday evening and returned to its mother, who came once she heard her baby crying after rescuers pulled the kitten to safety.
