2024 Hot Rod Power Tour in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The 2024 Hot Rod Power Tour kicked off Monday morning and brought a big crowd. It’s the 30th anniversary and it’s got around 7,000 extra vehicles around the Bowling Green area.

News 40 was at Beech Bend Raceway to check out the big mobile car show to see what was going on, where we ran into many car enthusiasts from across the U.S. and saw all kinds of makes. Speaking to the Hot Rods Network Director, News 40 learned that picking Bowling Green was a “natural choice” for the milestone tour.

Tour participants told us that car culture makes things like the tour worth attending, with many people always willing to lend a helping hand if anyone needs something. There was also a pride in craftsmanship, having a great opportunity to show how you decked out your ride.
