Bowling Green ranked for craft beer scene

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Everyone knows Kentucky is known for bourbon, but what about beer? Well, according to http://livability.com, Bowling Green is somewhere to consider.

Livability’s website is geared toward helping people find the best places to work, live and play that are most aligned with their interests. In an article posted this month, they named six cities that are “underrated” for their craft beer, and Bowling Green came out at number two, naming White Squirrel Brewery and Blue Holler Brew Supplies specifically. Naturally, News 40 paid a visit to both businesses to gather their reaction on the news.

Sean Stevens, co-owner of the White Squirrel and Blue Holler owner Chris Karraker said they were humbled and happy to be on the list, both saying they’ve put a lot of work into what makes them something worth talking about.
