‘The Gunslingers’ films in Cave City, Southern Kentucky Film Commission shares reaction

CAVE CITY, Ky.- Saddle up south-central Kentucky for a western film that was shot in Cave City.

Nicholas Cage, Heather Graham and several other actors starring in “The Gunslingers” movie are doing more than acting. They are impacting our region by highlighting the tourist attractions within the film.

Jennifer McNett, the vice president of the Southern Kentucky Film Commission, tells us, “To know that we were able to get a film of this caliber here in our region. And those people were here, you know, and they went in and in our restaurants and they visited our place, and I just think that everyone should be really proud of all of the hard work.”

The film is currently in production, and once it’s finished, The Southern Kentucky Film Commission will be hosting a premiere for anyone and everyone interested in viewing the Lionsgate film.
