Local tattoo shop raising funds for Logan County Humane Society

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – It’s a cause near and dear to one artist’s heart, and she is using her talent to help the animals she loves so much.

Katherine McCumber, owner of All Is Well Tattoo and Art Studio, said to News 40 that she is a big lover of animals and wanted to do something to give back. The artist has drawn up several “flash tattoos” that are cat and dog themed in honor of the special weekend.

On June 1 and June 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., McCumber will be tattooing as many people as she can in order to benefit the Logan County Humane Society.

The artist told us that the humane society will be set up outside as well, trying to get a few cats and dogs adopted over the weekend. McCumber said she will be giving half of the proceeds made that weekend to the society.
