Shipping container travels over 100 miles out of Warren County from flooding

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A container belonging to Warren County Parks and Recreation made a long journey after it traveled through multiple counties from flooding.

According to Warren County Emergency Management, the Conex container was washed away from Weldon Peete Park on Old Louisville Road last week during heavy rain.

It was found Tuesday 116.5 miles away in Livermore, Kentucky, emergency management says.
