WCPL “Little Free Shuttle” pledges a way to safety
WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Warren County Public Library partnered up with Friends of the Library and Red Cross to shuttle those in need of transport.
The WCPL seeks to help residents reach safe shelters during “gray sky” emergencies such as storms, tornados, etc.
During non-emergency driving times (blue skies), or if an individual lacks the ability to travel, their goal is to provide transportation to and from the public library.
The vehicle was donated by the Red Cross for when the community is in need of assistance.

The shuttle will be set on a fixed schedule to go throughout Warren County. There is no official launch date as of now, due to the need of a driver.
A part-time shuttle driver position is open and it does not require a CDL. Applicants must be 25+ for vehicle insurance purposes.
Route times, and more information will come out soon.
