WKU Golfers Prepare for NCAA Regionals

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Both WKU golf programs will be represented in postseason play after Catie Craig and Luke Fuller advanced following the Conference USA Tournament.

Fuller is headed to the West Lafayette regional, held at Purdue University from May 13-15, where he will become the first Hilltopper men’s golfer to play in a regional since 2019.
And Craig is headed to the East Lansing regional, held at Michigan State University from May 6-8, and she will participate in postseason play for the second straight season.
Ahead of their next competition, both Fuller and Craig shared how they are preparing.
“I’m pretty excited, we’ve been up to Purdue in the fall for a tournament. Unfortunately, it was on the other course, but I’ve got a teammate that’s played up there his whole life. He’s going to kind of show me around,” Fuller said, “looking forward to it though.”
“Definitely learned that it’s really hard to get that one spot out of the non-qualifying players, so I just know that I have three rounds to try and do it,” Craig said. “I’ll do everything I can to shoot the best I can those three days. And if I happen to do it, sure. But if it doesn’t, I’m okay with that. But really hoping to make it to the ‘natty’s’ this year.”
