Malachi Corley Drafted 65th Overall by the New York Jets

BOWLING GREEN, Ky – During the second night of the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit, Western Kentucky University Wide Receiver Malachi Corley saw his dream of playing football professionally come true, as his name was announced by the New York Jets with the 65th pick.

Corley concluded his time on the Hill as one of the greatest to ever wear red and black at WKU following the 2023 season. After 49 games with the Tops, he finished with the 3rd most receiving yards in program history, the 2nd most touchdowns, and he holds the record for most receptions with 259 over the course of four seasons.

He earned many honors as a Hilltopper, including All-Conference USA First Team in 2022 and 2023, and he now is the second highest draft pick out from WKU.

From Bowling Green to New York, the “YAC King” will now run routes in MetLife Stadium and catch touchdowns from future Hall of Fame Quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
