Richardsville Fire Department receives new equipment from magistrate

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Richardsville Fire Department has received some new equipment thanks to fifth district magistrate Eric Aldridge.

Richardsville Fire Department announced that, on Thursday, Aldridge presented one year’s worth of his magistrate salary during a campaign, gifting the department a 2023 Polaris Ranger 4×4 UTV.

The vehicle comes equipped with a water pump skid that can haul up to 70 gallons of water and 10 gallons of foam.

Richardsville Fire says this vehicle will help with various situations, like searching for a missing person or responding to a brush fire in difficult locations.

The total price for the UTV, trailer and emergency lights was just over $48,000.
