Road project set to begin in Butler County

BUTLER COUNTY, Ky. – A road resurfacing project is set to begin in Butler County on Tuesday, April 30.

According to transportation officials, crews will resurface Interstate 165 in both directions from mile point 26.4 to mile point 32.8.

In addition to addressing pavement issues, crews will be installing new guardrail along with drainage improvements, transportation officials say.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says motorists should expect lane closures and travel with caution.

The project is expected to be completed by Nov. 1.
