WKU Sports Participate in Day of Giving
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Western Kentucky University held their “Day of Giving” on Tuesday, and on the athletics side, the proceeds were focused into two areas.
The first was the Hilltopper Athletic Foundation impact fund, which supports a variety of needs across WKU sports, and the second area is the new Hilltopper Fieldhouse, which will be located right beside Nick Denes Field and available for all sports to use.
On the “Day of Giving”, HAF Executive Director Kat Smith shared a message to Hilltopper fans and the Bowling Green community, saying, “Every gift matters. From the smallest gifts to the largest gifts, they all add up and impact the student-athlete experience, which is what we’re here for. We want to enhance that experience for our student-athletes and our coaches who make an impact on our Bowling Green community each and every day, and so we’re just asking that, our fans and donors and community would give back to these student-athletes to continue to give them a great experience in college athletics.”
