BUTLER COUNTY, Ky. – Authorities are searching for a man after a robbery in Butler County.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Tuesday that a male and two females closed at Don Lindsey’s Grocery around 9 p.m. Sunday before leaving the store and driving to Morgantown.
Authorities say a couple of miles from the store, the three employees stopped to change a tire.
During this time, authorities say a tall, thin man wearing a mask and all black approached the individuals with a gun, allegedly taking an unknown amount of money and hitting the male over the head with the gun. The two females were not injured, deputies say.
The sheriff’s office says the male victim was transported to the Medical Center.
The alleged assailant fled the scene in an unknown direction.
