UPDATE: No injuries reported after charter bus fire on I-65
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Further information has been released after a vehicle fire on Interstate 65 on Monday afternoon.
Multiple units responded around 2:30 p.m. to the southbound lane near Exit 26, according to Bowling Green Fire Department public information officer Katie McKee.
Alvaton Volunteer Fire Department chief Mike Smith says a charter bus was being towed when the tire caught fire and spread to the rest of the bus.
Smith confirmed no one was injured.
