Man arrested in undercover prostitution and drug sting in Auburn

AUBURN, Ky. – A man is facing multiple charges after police say an undercover officer posing as a prostitute was offered illegal drugs in exchange for money and sexual activity in Auburn, Kentucky.
According to a uniform citation, two Auburn Police Department officers were conducting a drug and prostitution investigation on Sunday.
Police say after an officer went undercover online to pose as a prostitute, Bradford Elliot, 34, agreed to provide methamphetamine for money and sexual activity.
Police say Elliot arrived at Spring Street, where he exited his car and began running from the scene through a nearby park.
According to the citation, Elliot threw a bag onto the grass while fleeing, which contained about 12.8 grams of suspected cocaine, 28.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, three hydrocodone pills, ecstasy, drug paraphernalia.
In addition, police say the bag contained 35 pressed fentanyl pills in the form of fake pills advertised as oxycodone responsible for local overdoses.
Elliot was arrested and transported to the Logan County Detention Center.
He is charged with promoting prostitution, first-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), tampering with physical evidence, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, second or greater offense (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater than or equal to 4 grams of cocaine), trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives), drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, second-degree disorderly conduct, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (drug unspecified), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third or greater offense (methamphetamine), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third or greater offense (cocaine), second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (hallucinogen), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (drug unspecified) and possession of marijuana.
