Pedestrian flown to hospital after injury collision in Glasgow
GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department is investigating a pedestrian injury accident.
On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at approximately 10:20pm, Glasgow Police officers received a dispatch to an injury accident at a crosswalk on the east side of Glasgow Public Square.
Police allege that Brooklyn Johnson, operating a 2009 NISSAN, was traveling eastbound around the Glasgow Public Square and did not see a female walking in a marked pedestrian crossing. The female walking on the pedestrian crossing was struck by the left front of the vehicle.
The injured female victim was flown to Skyline Hospital. Her identity has not been released.
Officer Jeff Childress, assisted by the Glasgow Fire Department and the Barren/Metcalfe EMS, led the investigation.
