Metcalfe County second grader to be recognized at state capitol after contest

METCALFE COUNTY, Ky. – A member of Metcalfe County Elementary School is heading to Frankfort, Kentucky next month.

The school took to social media on Thursday to announce that second grader Zayden Hagan is one of 12 winners of the University of Kentucky Extension Piggy Bank Design Contest.

The school says Hagan will be recognized at the Capitol Rotunda during the Kentucky Saves Lives Week Celebration.
