Project begins on highway section in Hart County

HART COUNTY, Ky. – The first phases of roadwork have begun for a section of highway in Hart County.
According to transportation officials, a road rehabilitation project will be taking place along Kentucky 88 between Kessinger and Munfordville.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the work includes pipe replacement, slope corrections and base failure repairs. In addition, the KY 88 approach to Main Street will be reconstructed with a concrete inlay.
Work is set to take place from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Drivers should be prepared to drive slowly and plan for still traffic.
The project should be completed by June 30.
