Bowling Green man charged with possession of child sexual abuse material

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man has been arrested on charges relating to the possession of child pornography.
According to the Bowling Green Police Department, Ray Eugene Gordon, 35, was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 31 after two search warrants were served at homes as part of an investigation.
During the search, police say they gathered electronic devices from both locations, leading to Gordon’s arrest. He faces a charge of possessing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12 years of age.
Police also say an investigation on Dec. 14 into Gordon led to forensic examinations of other electronic devices over the past month. Police say this revealed multiple sexual images depicting juveniles.
Gordon was also arrested that day and charged with first-degree sexual abuse.
He remains at the Warren County Detention Center with no bond. The investigation is ongoing, and police say they expect further charges.
