KY 70 in Edmonson County set for long-term closure for bridge project

EDMONSON COUNTY, Ky. – A portion of Kentucky 70 in Edmonson County is set to close starting on Feb. 5.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, KY 70, also known as Morgantown Road, at Bear Creek will close at mile marker 4.2. Drivers should expect a longer commute with detours in place.

The closure will allow for bridge replacement over Bear Creek, transportation officials say.

The closure is expected to last 90 days.
