Man arrested on indictment warrant for rape, sexual abuse in Butler County

MORGANTOWN, Ky. – Police say a man has been arrested on an indictment warrant for multiple charges related to sexual abuse.

According to Morgantown police, officers located and arrested Rodney Woosley on Sunday on an active indictment warrant for multiple counts of third-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse and unlawful transaction with a minor – illegal sex act under 16 years of age.

Police say Woosley tried to get rid of suspected methamphetamine during his arrest.

He is also charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified).

Woosley was taken to the Butler County Jail.
