FRANKFORT, Ky. – South Warren High School brought some local talent to the inauguration parade for Gov. Andy Beshear.

The traditional parade, which took place Tuesday afternoon, followed Beshear’s private swearing-in ceremony early this morning that started his second term as Kentucky governor.

SWHS band members marched ahead, playing a festive “Jingle Bells” performance for the celebration, which stretched from downtown Frankfort to the front of the State Capitol.

SWHS joins another local talent in Frankfort, Orchestra Kentucky, who provided the musical backdrop for the governor and first lady’s first dance for the inauguration Grand March.

The evening is set to end with the inaugural ball, starting at 6 p.m.
