BGMU crews head to Gallatin to help community after storms

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green Municipal Utilities crews departed for Gallatin, Tennessee Sunday morning after severe storms tore through Tennessee and Kentucky this past weekend.
The National Weather Service confirmed tornadoes impacted both states, including Clarksville, Tennessee, Gallatin, Warren County and Logan County, among other areas.
BGMU says the crews are heading to Gallatin to provide help with storm restoration.
Monday is also the anniversary of the December tornadoes of 2021 that caused widespread damage in multiple counties of Kentucky, leading to 17 deaths in Warren County alone.
With heavy damage being no stranger to Bowling Green, BGMU is bridging the communities in a time of need all too familiar to our local area.
