Man charged with criminal trespassing in Allen County

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Allen County deputies say they made an arrest Sunday after they say a man fled from imi Concrete in Scottsville.

The Allen County Sheriff’s Office says it arrived around 8:55 a.m. at the concrete plant at 312 South Third Street.

At the scene, deputies say they attempted to make contact with the subject, identified as Walter Borden, 52, before Borden fled from the scene.

Deputies say they found Borden in a dumpster on the property of Cole Lumber.

While searching Borden’s person, authorities say they found a plastic wrapper containing methamphetamine.

Borden faces charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (third or greater offense, methamphetamine), third-degree criminal trespassing and second-degree fleeing or evading police.

Borden was taken to the Allen County Detention Center.
