Barren County Sheriff’s Office warns of warrant scam

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Deputies are issuing a warning to Barren County about a current scam.

The Barren County Sheriff’s Office says a man identifying himself as Scott Miller claims to be a member of the sheriff’s office. However, this is false.

Deputies say the man is telling people they have missed assigned jury duty and that arrest warrants have been issued. This man is asking for a wire transfer of funds to cover the warrants.
