Fairview Cemetery holds annual Veterans Holiday Wreath Program

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Volunteers walked Fairview Cemetery Saturday to pay tribute to veterans with an annual wreath laying.

At the cemetery, more than 1,100 wreaths decorate and honor the designated Veterans Sections, according to the city.

Greenwood High School Students started the event, which has grown over the years.

The City of Bowling Green says 77 volunteers participated this year.
