Glasgow police make arrest after gasoline thefts

GLASGOW, Ky. – Two people have been arrested after police say the suspects stole gasoline multiple times in Glasgow.
The Glasgow Police Department says officers found a vehicle Wednesday operated by Robert Cody Scott, 27, of Glasgow, Kentucky with a passenger identified as Courtney Blasdel, 27, of Wickliffe, Kentucky.
Police say the suspects stole gasoline from Murphy USA Gas Station multiple times over the last two weeks.
Scott and Blasdel were arrested.
Scott faces charges of theft by unlawful taking of gasoline and failure to produce an insurance card. Police say they also served a warrant for theft by unlawful taking of gasoline.
Blasdel faces charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition of gasoline (complicity), resisting arrest, second-degree wanton endangerment, third-degree assault of a police officer or probation officer, third-degree assault of a peace officer non-communicable bodily fluid.
Both were taken to the Barren County Detention Center.
