Allen County no longer under burn ban, statewide restrictions continue

ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. – The burn ban in Allen County is no longer active, but authorities warn statewide restrictions still remain.
The Scottsville Police Department shared the news Friday, reminding the public forest fire hazard season is through Dec. 15.
During fire hazard seasons, it is unlawful for a person to set fire to any flammable material capable of spreading fire within 150 feet of woodland or brush except between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
