Fire sparks from farm equipment near Smiths Grove

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Police say a field caught on fire near Smiths Grove Wednesday from farm equipment.

The smoke some may have seen was from a fire off of Upper Dixie Highway.

Smiths Grove police chief Jason Franks says a piece of farm equipment caught fire, leading the field to catch fire as well.

Several fire trucks were on scene to help put out the fire.

Franks says no one was injured.
