Tyson recalls almost 30,000 pounds of dino-shaped nuggets

(CNN) – You may need to check your freezer.
Tyson is recalling nearly 30,000 pounds of chicken nuggets.
On Saturday, the company said it was voluntarily pulling the nuggets from shelves after some reports of finding small pieces of metal of inside of them.
Specifically, the recall applies to 29-ounce plastic bag packages containing frozen, but fully cooked breaded nuggets shaped like dinosaurs.
The packaging include the best-used-by date of Sept. 4, 2024.
The chicken was sold in a number of states, including Kentucky, Tennessee, California and Virginia.
The USDA says there has been a single “minor oral injury” connected to consuming the nuggets.
Consumers with questions about the recall can contact Tyson Consumer Relations at 855-382-3101.
