“Reach Week” at Hillvue Heights Church

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – At Hillvue Heights Church, they’re kicking off their fall season “reach week” with a trunk or treat.

News 40 was out on church grounds this evening where about 150 cars were lined up and full of candy for eager kids, but it goes beyond that. The station talked to Kathy Trulock, the kids pastor at church to get some more info on what’s going on.

Trulock said reach week is about getting out into the community and helping out where needed, opening the doors to the church in a way to the whole town. They’ll be taking food to WKU for college students, as well as having a single mother oil change day on Saturday to help out mothers around town.
