BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One person is dead after a collision on Interstate 65 northbound Tuesday evening.

The Kentucky State Police confirmed Wednesday that Sharon Locke-Racz, 78, of Bronston, Kentucky, died at the Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee following the crash.

Authorities say Locke-Racz was flown from the scene after her vehicle was struck by a 2008 Toyota passenger car operated by Arruice Stafford, 21, Bowling Green.

Locke-Racz’s vehicle reportedly exited the roadway and overturned, officials say.

Stafford was transported from the scene by Medical Center EMS to The Medical Center of Bowling Green, where KSP says he was treated and released.

All three lanes of the north side of the interstate closed Tuesday night as a result of the crash.

This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by the KSP Post 3.
