Warren County Sheriff’s Office makes arrest after report of overdose

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – One man is facing charges following a reported overdose in Warren County.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says it responded Thursday night around 8:36 p.m. after receiving a call about an overdose. Authorities say the caller had heard concerning information from the child of a woman suffering a possible overdose.
Deputies and EMS arrived and provided aid to the woman.
Authorities say they later conducted a search and located drugs and paraphernalia within the home.
In addition, authorities say they searched a residence off of the 300 block of Old Nashville Road, where they forced entry and arrested suspect John C. Gardenbrock after locating various drugs.
The sheriff’s office says it found marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine, along with 270 M30 fentanyl pills and other drugs and paraphernalia within the home.
Cash and two firearms were also seized, authorities say.
Gardenbrock faces several charges, including two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (fentanyl), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine), trafficking in marijauana (less than 5 pounds), first offense, second-degree possession of a controlled substance (anabolic steroid), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), convicted felon in possession of a handgun and convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
The sheriff’s office says more charges are expected.
Gardenbrock remains at the Warren County Detention Center.
