GLASGOW, Ky. – A Glasgow man has been arrested after police say they responded to a robbery at the U.S. Bank at 100 Wall St.

The Glasgow Police Department says it responded to the incident on Friday at about 1 p.m.

After arriving, police say they located Adam J. Wood, 42, of Glasgow. Authorities say they confirmed Wood handed the bank teller a note that stated he had a gun and demanding $500. Police say the teller handed the money to Wood before he left the bank.

The money was later recovered, police say.

Police say multiple customers were present in the bank, but no one was injured.

Wood was arrested and faces a charge of first-degree robbery.

He remains at the Barren County Detention Center.
