Bus Driver Fair

BOWLING GREEN Ky. – On Saturday Warren County Public Schools will be hosting a bus driver fair at their transportation office.

This fair will allow people in the community who are interested in driving a school bus to learn more about the job and its requirements and get a chance to test drive a bus to see how, as WCPS Transportation Director Chip Jenkins says, easy to drive they really are. The district like many across the US is experiencing a shortage of bus drivers and hopes the fair may encourage people who may be interested to jump in.

“We’re in a shortage and we just want to encourage people to come out. And if they want to help us as a community to to make our jobs easier, to transport our students every day, this is a great opening for them to come out and do that.”
