(CNN) – You may want to check your cabinet if you own a pet.

Mid American Pet Food has voluntarily recalled one lot of its Victor Super Premium Dog Food Hi-Pro Plus because of possible salmonella contamination.

The 5-pound bags were sold at various retailers in the United States, and they have a best by date of April 30, 2024.

So far, no dogs or humans have gotten sick.

If you have the dog food, it’s recommended to throw it away so that pets and wildlife cannot get to it.

You can contact Mid America Pet Food Consumer Affairs online for more information.
