Individual arrested after shots fired at UK parking garage

LEXINGTON, Ky. – One man is facing multiple charges in Lexington after officials say he fired shots in a parking garage near the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital.
According to a release by UK, around 3:30 a.m. Friday, University of Kentucky police received a call about a male subject brandishing a firearm outside of a hospital.
The individual then made his way into a nearby parking garage, where officials say he fired three shots into the walls and ceiling of the structure.
No one was injured, and both UK police and Lexington police were able to take him into custody.
The individual, who has not yet been named, is currently being evaluated at the Albert B. Chandler Hospital.
Charges are pending at this time.
