Evidence building hits rock, takes setback
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The building of the Bowling Green Police Department’s new evidence facility is still in progress.
The building is being constructed behind the police department on the corner of Adams and 10th Street.
Officer Ronnie Ward said the builders ran into a small setback when they began digging and came up on a very large rock.
Since then, the workers have been putting time and effort into clearing that from the building site.
The $1.2 million building will house all sorts of evidence, including vehicles.
According to police officials, it should take less than a year in total to build.
