Some officers were in vehicles, on foot, on bikes and in plain clothes.

WKU police Officer Tim Grey, said the department’s is having a police presence to keep the public and students safe.

“It’s not so much that we are worried about student activity, but we just want students to be safe. We want to make sure they are out there making good choices, good decisions, of course, there is an opportunity to consume alcohol if you are of age and do so, but we also want people to be responsible,” Grey said.
