Roy’s Bar-B-Que celebrates 40th anniversary of family legacy

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A celebration continues tonight in Russellville, where a family-owned restaurant is marking their 40th year in business!

Known for their mouthwatering barbeque and southern sides, Roy’s Bar-B-Que has been feeding residents and visitors in Logan County since March 13, 1983!

The children of founder Ralph Morgan credit their father’s belief in hard work as the reason for their success.

“I think the values that dad taught us 40 years ago are the same values they have today,” said John Morgan, son of the Roy’s Bar-B-Que founder. “And if they keep the same values 40 years from now, they’re going to be just as successful as they are today.

The anniversary milestone was celebrated with “cheers to 40 years” merchandise and free barbeque sandwiches, cookies and cake.
