Chamber holds cyber safety program

BOWLING GREEN, KY – We all deal with digital information, from accessing our social media accounts to our bank accounts.

A local information technology company held a training seminar on cyber safety today at the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce.

CoreTech co-founder and chief executive officer Josh Gossett, answered the question: how can we safeguard our personal information to best protect ourselves from hackers?

As cyber-criminals have grown in number, our information has become more easily stolen.

Some ways to keep yourself from becoming a victim is, use a password manager, always be skeptical and back up your information in case of a breach or a system crashing.

Most data breaches are caused by a human mistake, so educate yourself on how to protect your valuable information so that you do not become the next cyber victim.
