Authorities say Scott possessed a large bag of suspected crystal methamphetamine. They say they also found another smaller bag of methamphetamine, along with other drug paraphernalia near where he was sitting.
Authorities say Scott said the items were his.
Around 53 grams of crystal methamphetamine and $436 in cash, scales, meth pipes and baggies were located at the residence, according to authorities.
Scott was detained and faces charges of trafficking in methamphetamine, first offense, greater than or equal to 2 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
