Barren County police cruiser among cars hit while responding to injury accident

GLASGOW, Ky. – Multiple vehicles, including one belonging to the Barren County Sheriff’s Office, are damaged following a collision.
Around 8:11 p.m. Sunday, the Barren County Sheriff’s Office requested the Glasgow Police Department to respond to a vehicle accident with injuries at 3310 Old Bowling Green Road.
Police arrived and discovered that while the BCSO investigated a separate accident, they say Bradford Berryman was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala westbound before rear ending an unoccupied vehicle that was stopped in the roadway due to the wreck being investigated.
Upon colliding with the initial vehicle, police say this unoccupied vehicle then struck an unoccupied Barren County Sheriff’s Department vehicle.
All vehicles impacted by the crash sustained moderate to severe damage. No first responders were injured in the incident despite being nearby and assisting patients from the first accident.
Berryman was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for his injuries before Barren/Metcalfe EMS later transported him to the UofL Hospital.
Alcohol is suspected to be a pending factor in the collision, according to officials. Criminal charges against Berryman are pending.
The investigation remains ongoing.
